Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) Therapy

CPAP is the leading therapy for sleep apnea. Patients wear a face or nasal mask as they sleep. The mask, connected to a pump, provides a positive flow of air into the nasal passages in order to keep the airway open.

Located adjacent to Northwest Hospital Sleep Center is a full-service sleep medicine clinic and CPAP provider. Patients benefit from the convenience of receiving all aspects of consultation, testing and treatment in a single location. A sleep therapy specialist who focuses solely on the unique needs of patients with sleep apnea is available to teach patients how to use CPAP equipment effectively, to improve the quality of their sleeping and waking hours.
