Vestibular Program

Northwest Hospital’s Vestibular Program is a therapy program designed to help people who suffer from dizziness due to inner ear or neurological problems. Symptoms may include: episodes of spinning, periods of light-headedness, trouble focusing or reading or loss of balance. Therapy includes exercises and compensation techniques to stop or reduce symptoms of dizziness, in addition to balance training. The program involves assessments by occupational and physical therapists. Vestibular services are provided on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.
