The Lymphedema Program at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center is designed to decrease the risk of infection and reduce swelling of body parts following injury or disease. Therapy includes lymphatic mobilization, compression bandaging, exercise and skin care, with the goal of helping patients with or at risk of lymphedema learn self-management techniques. The program includes assessments by occupational and physical therapists.
