At Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, we utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to provide the best possible cancer care for our patients and their families. Recognized as a leader for our treatment of breast, prostate, and brain cancer, the hospital's programs utilize the expertise of many medical specialists to provide innovative and comprehensive cancer care.

Our teams consists of physicians and other health care professionals representing the full spectrum of specialties involved in cancer care – including diagnostic imaging, medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgery, pathology, and cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, to name a few.

The Northwest Hospital Cancer Program has been accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Additionally, a Cancer Committee comprised of Northwest Hospital physicians, surgeons, and other allied health professionals – representing various specialties involved in cancer care – monitors the overall care of the cancer patient at Northwest Hospital with the goal of ongoing quality improvement in all aspects of education, research, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
