Dr. Langman is a fellowship-trained neurotologist. He has over 25 years of experience in treating patients with hearing and balance problems. He has particular expertise in hearing restoration, cochlear implants, acoustic tumor (vestibular schwannoma) and skull base surgery, as well as the surgical and medical management of dizziness and chronic ear disease.

He is also involved in clinical research as he is an integral part of a clinical research network that studies disorders within otolaryngology - head & neck surgery.

Dr. Langman earned his bachelor’s degree from Temple University and his M.D. from Hahenmann University in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of the UCSF Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery residency and completed his fellowship in otology, neurotology & skull base surgery at the University of Michigan. He is presently a clinical instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington.

He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and the American Neurotology Society. He has lectured nationally and internationally and has been an editor and member of editorial boards of several journals in his specialty.

My goal of patient care is to bring the compassion of private practice care and combine it with the expertise that is available in a university practice setting.

Soccer and travel.

Clinical Interests
Dr. Langman's clinical interests encompass the medical and surgical treatment of hearing and balance disorders. He has special expertise in the treatment of patients with Meniere's disease, acoustic neuromas and hearing restoration with cochlear implants and bone anchored hearing aids.

Clinical research in hearing and balance disorders.
