Dr. Gordon earned his B.A. cum laude from Yale University in 1975 and his MD from Case Western Reserve University, with Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society honors in 1982. He completed a two-year residency in internal medicine at the Montreal General Hospital in Quebec, Canada, followed by three years of neurology residency, EMG fellowship, and one year of EEG fellowship in the McGill University Neurology program, comprising the Montreal Neurological Institute, Montreal General Hospital, and Montreal Children's Hospital. Dr. Gordon is currently a clinical associate professor of neurology at the University of Washington in Seattle, outgoing vice-chair of the Ethics, Law, and Humanities Committee of the American Academy of Neurology, and chair of the Ethics Committee of Northwest Hospital. He has practiced and promoted palliative care since he entered medicine, and he commits his career to the welfare of his patients, their families and our community.
