Dr. Yakovlevitch received his medical degree from Yale, and his cardiology fellowship training at the University of Washington. He was appointed Chief of Cardiology for Northwest Hospital in 1999 and Chief of Staff in 2006 and again in 2012. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Northwest Hospital, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Summit Cardiology, a group of patient-centered cardiovascular specialists who are recognized for the quality of care they provide in both clinic and hospital settings. Dr. Yakovlevitch's clinical practice is guided by the belief that medical care can best improve a person’s health and well-being when state-of-the-art knowledge and technology are combined with a personalized care approach built on compassion. His scope of practice ranges from noninvasive detection and prevention, to sophisticated management of complex, advanced heart disease.
