Dr. Raisis received his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado, Boulder and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado Medical Center. His post-doctoral training included an internship at Washington University Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and neurological surgery residence at the University of Michigan
Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Raisis has been certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery since 1979 and has been licensed by the State of Washington since 1976. He serves on the staff of Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, Providence Hospital and Overlake Medical Center. Dr. Raisis is a member of the Congress of
Neurologic Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons (Cushing Society), Washington State Neurosurgical Society, Puget Sound Neurological Society, Washington State Medical Association and King County Medical Society. Of particular interest to Dr. Raisis are primary and metastatic brain tumors, acoustic neuroma and spinal tumors.
