Dr. Isacson earned her medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine. She interned in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan Medical Center followed by a residency in pathology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She then completed a two-year fellowship in gynecologic pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In 1996, Dr. Isacson joined the faculty of Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where she conducted research and practiced surgical pathology with a gynecologic pathology emphasis. She moved to Seattle in 2000 and enjoys biking and hiking in the Northwest with her husband, and spending time with her extended Norwegian family
