Dr. Nicole White is a board-certified general surgeon with specialties in thoracic, esophageal, bariatric, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She focuses her practice on bariatric, or weight-loss surgery, and has a special interest in esophageal disease. She is highly skilled in surgical treatments for acid reflux and hiatal hernias, including the new EsophyX™ TIF incision-less procedure. She has expertise in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, including surgery for benign and malignant lung disorders. She also focuses on state-of-the-art minimally invasive general surgery procedures using the da Vinci Si Robotic Surgical System.
Dr. White graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency in categorical general surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. Later, she completed a fellowship in minimally invasive foregut/non-cardiac thoracic surgery at the Ryan Hill Foundation at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. More recently, Dr. White served as an assistant professor of surgery at the New York University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Seattle Surgical Society.
In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travel and art. She is an avid skier during the winter months.
