Seattle Pacific surgeons and The Bone & Joint Center of Seattle Welcome New Physicians to Their Teams
Northwest Hospital & Medical center is pleased to announce the addition of two new doctors to medical practices located at the hospital. Robert Clawson, MD, is joining The Bone & Joint Center of Seattle and Joshua Cooper, MD, is joining Seattle Pacific Surgeons.
In March, Dr. Robert Clawson joined The Bone and Joint Center of Seattle. Dr. Clawson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School and completed his internship at Harborview Medical Center. He completed residencies in orthopedics at Louisiana State University, the Shreveport School of Medicine and George Washington University. He has been in practice as an orthopedic surgeon at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center since 1974. His practice includes adult repair and reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle; total hip and knee arthroplasty, knee arthroscopy and adult trauma surgery. Dr. Clawson has a strong interest in medical history and he produced "Harborview: The Trauma Story", a telling account of the pioneering work in trauma at Harborview during the 60s and 70s.

Seattle Pacific Surgeons also welcomed Dr. Joshua Cooper to the practice. Dr. Cooper, who specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, will join a team of highly-skilled surgeons trained in the latest, advanced surgical options today. The multi-specialty surgical group includes Dr. Terence Quigley, a vascular surgeon and Northwest Hospitalís Chief of Surgery, vascular surgeon Dr. Benjamin Lerner and general surgeon Dr. Nicole White. Dr. Cooper is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He has a broad spectrum of interests within the specialty of plastic surgery, including the face, breast and body.
