UW Medicine Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic Opens at Northwest Hospital
In April 2014, the new UW Medicine Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic opened at Northwest Hospital. The clinic offers state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery and treatments performed by UW Physicians in an intimate community setting.
Primary surgical providers Hakim Said, M.D., and Alexander Gougoutas, M.D., as well as Otway Louie, M.D., Shannon Colohan, M.D., and members of the UWMC Center for Reconstructive Surgery offer cutting edge surgical options at community-friendly prices. These include aesthetic and recontouring procedures, which are often the finishing steps after reconstructive or functional surgery. For example, after significant weight loss, body contouring can dramatically change patients' self-esteem and has been shown to improve maintenance of weight loss. The clinic also offers the full spectrum of rejuvenating options, including injectable treatments performed onsite, and facelifts and tummy tucks performed at the Northwest Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center.
